International Chardonnay Tasting | Rebecca Lechman Memorial Bursary Recipient Reveal

Join us Monday May 4th at Promenade Brasserie for the fourth annual International Chardonnay Tasting and recipient reveal of the Rebecca Lechman Memorial Bursary! Spend the evening with like minded individuals as we taste through an array of Chardonnay from all over the world!

In memory of Rebecca and her contribution to our community, CAPS Manitoba created the Rebecca Lechman Memorial Bursary in 2022. The $1000 bursary is awarded annually to a deserving recipient looking to further their wine or hospitality education or training. 

Rebecca passed away suddenly and tragically in March of 2020. She was a dear friend to many and a very active member of our Winnipeg wine community. Rebecca was a Certified Sommelier and loved learning about wine almost as much she loved sharing her knowledge and passion with others. She was a wonderful mentor to many young people in our community. She gave her time and knowledge freely, and took great pleasure in seeing the people she cared about succeed.

So come sip, mingle, snack (snacks will be provided by our gracious host, Promenade Brasserie and help us toast to Rebecca with a glass of Chardonnay!
